Friendship is a large focus in our Full Day Kindergarten program. The personal and emotional development of the children in our classroom is very important as it lays the foundations for their social interactions in not only school but future environments like the business world! We want to affirm that each child is an individual yet at the same time we are a community of diverse, unique individuals. As this is the first experience in the school environment for many of students we need to ensure that we keep in mind that the rate of adaptation varies for every child. Our goal is to make sure the classroom is a loving, welcoming and safe environment for all children and we want our students to be happy to come to school and happy to be with their friends and teachers.
